The film follows Eli, an ambitious and hopeful teenager, who leaves home in search of a new life in the city. He arrives looking for work but instead finds himself befriending a group of misfits. Amongst the carefree misfits is Riley, an eccentric nonconformist.
Eli and Riley quickly bond and discover the importance of empathy, the joys of life and the importance of privileges.
Sami plays Riley, a character who resents normal life and detests Eli's doctrines of work and purpose. When Eli's trouble start to rise to the surface he and Riley must overcome their philosophies and plan for the future.
